Ian is an award winning country music singer/ songwriter from the Macarthur district of NSW, Australia. 

 Writing songs for over 14 years. 

​

Ian had been performing with bands for many years but in 2014 decided to start playing solo and performing his original material. 

​

In January 2015 Ian released his debut EP, “Good Friends” recorded with Doug Bruce. 
The EP contains seven original tracks, including the award nominated “Boundary Rider”. 

Following the success of his EP Ian went back into the studio, recording the CD “Want To Sing”  

"Want To Sing" contained 11 original tracks, all penned by Ian. The CD was released in March 2016. 
  
The song “Forty Something” was released in May 2016 reaching position 9 in the Australian Country Tracks Charts followed up by the release of "Ride Away".

 “Ride Away” was Nominated for 4 awards at The Josie Music Awards in Nashville and was also a finalist in the 2017 Tamworth Songwriters Assoc Salute Awards and Finalist with the 2017 Australian Country Music People’s Choice Awards Best Song and Best Video, whilst Ian himself is a finalist in Best Male Vocal section. 

At Tamworth Country Music Festival 2018 Ian won The National Country Songwriters Contest in the Alt / Blues / Bluegrass section and was a finalist in the Best Male Vocal section of Australia Country Music People’s Choice Awards.

Ian is performing and has been busy writing in preparation for his new album that is currently in production.
